This 4 foot tall by 9 foot wide triptych hangs in a lobby alcove in the collection of U.S Bank in Ketchum, Idaho, the town at the base of the Sun Valley Ski mountain. The panels were painted with oils on canvas with the painting extending all around the sides of the stretcher bar frames.

The view is from one of the Smokey Mt. tops that overlooks our house. One year we had an exceptionally cool wet Spring resulting in a stellar bloom of wild flowers, some of which had not bloomed in 20 years in our semi-arid climate. The flowers were so thick, with such a lush and spectacular variety, it looked like a formally planted garden! – G.P.L.
